I am a compassionate, direct and interactive therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address their treatment goals. I offer a highly personalized approach, tailored to each client's specific and unique needs. I work with each individual to help them identify and build upon their strengths. I believe that the person is not the problem, the problem is the problem. I collaborate with my client's and help them step away from problem saturated and oppressive stories, to discovering and/or creating new untold stories which include preferred accounts of their lives, hopes, values, dreams and relationships.
I believe it takes a lot of courage to begin therapy and know it can be a challenging road. I commend anyone who can take that first step and be open. I am dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment and work collaboratively with my clients. My goal is to assist my clients in utilizing their strengths to overcome any struggles they might be facing and promote growth. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults/parents, and families dealing with various issues and concerns including anxiety, anger, ADHD, behavior management (e.g. defiance, oppositional behavior, tantrums), depression, divorce/separation, grief, relational issues between parents and children/adolescents, and trauma.
