Amy Graves, M.A., LMFT 

Amy Graves is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  Her therapeutic approach is to provide a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental, compassionate, and supportive space that facilitates self-awareness, personal growth, empowerment, and healing. 

 

Amy started her journey working in the mental health field 22 years ago.  She has experience working in residential services, juvenile probation, foster youth, in-home services, school based services, and  office based services. Her career has focused on working with at risk youth, foster youth, children and families effected by trauma, abuse, loss, and family struggles.  She specializes in working with troubled youth and has years of experience working with undeserved population of those with depression, anxiety, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, relationship struggles, self-harm, suicidality, bipolar, and PTSD.

 

Amy utilizes various modalities including Art and Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused, Humanistic, mindfulness, and family systems.  The treatment plan aims at supporting the your individual needs and incorporating your unique qualities and strengths.  Amy sincerely believes that individuals want to make positive changes in their lives and maintain healthy connections to others.  She will work collaboratively with you to help identify, understand, and work through any unresolved issues ultimately giving you a chance to appreciate your true potential.
